Welcome

FreeSide is a student project at the University of Hull (http://www.hull.ac.uk/) to offer free in both beer and speech Unix, Open and Alternative computing services to the student population of the University.

We're also a bunch of geeks having a good time, and a partner of both Hull University's excellent Computer Society (ComSoc) and the British Computer Society (BCS).

Freeside is an international conglomerate of spies and pirates convincingly masquerading as geeks. We're long on high-speed internet access and short on daylight.
